UVa Arts Council

Enriching the Arts on Grounds through Advocacy & Participation

The UVa Arts Council provides advocacy, advice, and support for the arts at the University of Virginia. Bringing together arts alumni, friends, students and faculty, the Council strives to develop and strengthen the bonds of interest and participation among the arts community at UVa. Each year the Council awards project grants of $10,000 and under to art departments across Grounds. In 2015, 14 out of 21 approved grant proposals received full funding through the Arts Council:
